Active macro and microlearning

Research shows that people learn more efficiently when they alternate between bite-sized and complex topics. Our microlearning e-lessons are short and focused to meet an immediate need that can be learned in the flow of work. For people in new roles or when learning completely new skill areas, the "macro" e-courses and group workshops offer a more formal and complete training, with a certified digital badge that attests mastery of a new competency.

  • E-course = path of e-lessons

    A "macro" E-COURSE is a playlist with 3-5 relevant e-lessons for a new skill area. Example: "Agile Product Backlogs in Practice". Course duration: 1.5-2.5 h.

  • E-lesson = 1-5 e-topics

    An E-LESSON (micro-course) covers a concept, practice, or role activity. Example: "How to size a product backlog". It contains 1-5 e-topics. Lesson duration: 15-30 min.

  • E-topic = videos + digital downloads

    A "micro" E-TOPIC covers one aspect, step or technique with video and materials. Example: "Should you size stories with story points or time?". Topic duration: 2-8 min.

  • E-subscription: access to all e-learning

    An E-MEMBERSHIP is a subscription that gives you access to all e-learning content. Some memberships also include monthly coaching.

  • Team Workshops: trains groups

    A WORKSHOP is a live instructor-led collaborative group training, often customized. Possible formats: onsite, live online, train-the-trainer.

E-Courses: learning paths for a learning objective

E-courses are playlists that guide you through curated e-lessons based on your learning objective. All you need to do is select the e-course of a subject area, and you can immediately start. Inside such learning path you can modify the sequence. What's more, each e-course earns you a certified digital badge upon completion!
